Acclaimed Jeweler Mignon Faget Joins the Marigny Opera Ballet as Lead Corporate Sponsor

The Marigny Opera Ballet is pleased to announce that local jeweler Mignon Faget, Ltd. has become the Lead Corporate Sponsor of its first two programs in the 2015/2016 season. Both full-length ballets—“Orfeo” (October 2-4, 2015) and “Christmas Concerto” (December 10-13, 2015)—will be produced with the support of one of the region’s finest jewelers.

A fifth-generation New Orleanian, Faget has flourished in the culture and traditions of her birthplace. “There is an urgent sense of beauty, a real poignancy in dance that is a revelation and an inspiration. You see it in the art of the Marigny Opera Ballet.”

Mignon Faget will serve as Honorary Chair of the Ballet’s season launch on October 2nd. Following the world premiere of “Orfeo,” she will host a special Patron’s Party at Feelings, the legendary Marigny restaurant three blocks away from the Marigny Opera House.
