Mélange Dance Company Audition (Southern Voices)

Mélange Dance Company has been selected to perform in Southern Voices 8: Dance Out Loud! at the Contemporary Arts Center, on April 1-3, 2016. The company will be performing a new contemporary dance piece choreographed by Artistic Director, Monica Ordoñez. We are currently seeking 1-3 dancers to perform as guest dancers with the company in this new work. **At least ONE of the selected dancers must be a college student** The audition will take place on Thursday, Feb. 11th, from 7:30pm-8:30pm during Monica's Contemporary class at the Broadmoor Arts and Wellness Center. There will be a warm up, center technique, and choreography. Please bring a resume. Please note that you must be available for all the following rehearsals and performances to be considered: Tech Rehearsals: the week of March 28 Dress Rehearsal: March 31 Performances: Friday, April 1 - 8pm / Saturday 2 - 2pm & 8pm / Sunday 3 - 2pm.
